A big congrats to Vicky, the newest Featured Stamper (FS546) on Splitcoaststampers!  After much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the girly theme & layout, but I used different images, changed the top section a little & used an embossing folder instead of designer paper.

I think this little Cowgirl   is just adorable!  After stamping & color her, I added the greeting beside her & colored it, too. Then I used just the sparkle element from the greeting I used on the inside & stamped it w/ lt pink & lt blue. I added the paisley embossed topper & I rubbed a white Prismacolor pencil over the high points to bring them out a bit. A little stickles  was added for the bling.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to the July #2 Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps!
If you arrived here from Miriam’s blog, you’re in the right place..if not, you may want to head over there first.

The Prize – One $20 gift code will go to one random commenter from the blogs. So be sure  to visit all the blogs because you don’t know which one the winner will be drawn from. You have through Sunday July 9 to leave comments on the blogs for a chance to win. Mary will announce a winner on July 10 on her Blog.  Each month a different image is 50% off. This month- it’s the Sunflower Rake! On the first & third Wednesdays of every month., we’ll be celebrating with a Blog Hop!

I love this pretty little Goldfinch! After stamping & coloring him (you can tell he’s a he, because the females are a dull olive green), I masked him then used a torn mask to cover the lower part of the layer & sponged on Distress inks on the top part. Just for fun, I splattered water across it then attached the die cut curved section w/ the Mini Scroll Heart cut out of it. I added back some of the parts you usually discard & sponged the part you usually save & added it to the inside (below). The greeting is two images combined on a little label shape.

Next stop is Vickie‘s Blog!  Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!

Today’s Color Challenge (CC644) on Splitcoaststampers, is red, green & white with the dessert option of making a Christmas card. Got it covered! I’m also adding this to yesterday’s CAS438 Challenge (Christmas in July).

To make my Christmas card, I had a little piece of die cut linen card stock that fit this little berry tree perfectly, so I used it to stamp & color the image. On the larger white layer, I stamped the little flourish image all over using the greens of a Kaleidacolor ink pad then added the green layer. For the greeting, I stamped just the word Christmas by using a green marker then added the red die cut Merry.

Here’s the inside & below it are the Copic I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week!
